“What’s going on? Is Econore dead?”

Dead fish skeleton floating in the water resembling death and stuff

Not at all, stupid! It’s vivid as usual…

Alright, seriously, what’s going on then over here at Econore Headquarters?
Well, pretty much, but first the bad news: Those folks who can’t sleep any longer waiting for our next zine to come out – we advise you to go and better buy some hypnotics. It’s put on delay, because most of us are involved in thousand other things and therefore we are too busy at the moment to cope with that too. But no worries! Those of us who are lazy as usual are still gathering content and at the end we’ll provide you an even better zine than without the small delay! (If you have any suggestions or want to contribute: info@econore.com)

Besides that, remember Kinetic Crash Cooperation? That’s right they ceased to exist around 2005, but hey, is that a reason to NOT release a new album? – Wait and see.

And that’s not all! Oliver Barrett (Bleeding Heart Narrative or with Max Bondi as Grapefruits) is currently working on a cello focused solo release and it is not far from completion. We have heard the first finished track which he has recorded in his flat – to put it shortly: it’s mind-blowing! And the best is, besides his awesome skills the other tracks will feature very unusual, awesome recording spaces! No more spoiling on this one for now…it’s just fucking cool.

As for non-musical matters: The Econore Button Set #2 is available. We’ll update our homepage accordingly soon, but if you fancy some mystery shopping don’t hesitate and drop us a line. – First set is sold out, though.

Ok folks, basically that’s it on the news side. It’s a bit wait and see at the moment but haste makes waste. And if you really, really have any patience left at all there is still our podcast where you can find new full length tracks and samples or simply follow us on Twitter ( http://twitter.com/Econore_Records ) – or hypnotics, of course.
