Well quite a hell of a lot…but that’s always the case when we missed to update our site.
And to make things easy and comprehensible: Here’s the chronological view!
Previously on Econore
It’s so cool and collaborative – check this site to find out more (here)!
And if you live in Berlin, there’s a good chance you can get your hands on a copy at Rumpsti Pumsti’s. Otherwise, and as always, email us (info@econore.com)!
July, 23th – Fierce concert in old house: “Das bespielte Haus – Rooms full of sound and noise”
Quite a triply evening! Five concerts plus a video presentation embed in an exhibition-like environment. Hosted and guided by our dear friend Pawel.
So many people tried to get in we had to close doors at a certain point. Sorry for all fellas who didn’t make it to get in. But no worries, we’re currently working on a DVD-project. We had nice people who filmed the whole event, so what’s more obvious? Just mentioning — you know us – : It’s not done within a week or two. But when it’s finished I’m sure it is gonna be as AWESOME as this helluva fun evening was.

Today, August, 20th – Writing this post while fighting an intractable fly. Really adventurous!
Besides that I want to broach the issue of our new compilation series. Ahem.
First issue (eco_021) is out and you can either download it (here) or grab a physical version if you’re lucky; there might be one in your next order, your favourite café, stuck to a street-lamp in your town or who knows where!
The plan is to make a compilation every ten releases scoping the label’s development from our view besides serving as an afterwards introduction to the well-disposed but tardy listener or at least as a collectible beer mat. Ah, probably the best: It’s gonna be for free.
And if you wonder yourself when the second compilation is coming out, well the first three of ten releases in a row before that will happen are announced…
…HERE and NOW!!!!
Another incandescently hot ‘n’ freezing fresh release of this three-guys-gathering project. “II” is not just the title but also the place Tres’ newest tape takes in the trilogy that started with its self-titled predecessor. Be sure to give this a try and stay away from death mountain!
eco_023: Jeans Beast – “Blotter” 3″ CD-R

What a moth is to your jeans is what Jeansbeast is to your stereo. So throw out the repellants and let the Beast gnaw your circuits.
Panic Eggs I Feed You Mirror Mirror. I’m not insane, I’m this tape… Heavy rotation in Econore’s living-room made us to ask for re-releasing their debut vinyl on tape. And those fine blokes from Berlin said yes. YEEESSS!! Is this gonna rock your night and even gives a good breakfast next morning? EEGGSS..I mean YEEESSS! Who said you can hear a later Black Flag influence in here? YEEESSS!! And white tape, xeroxed style cover? YEEESSS!! It has it all… Plus: Side b means rewinding the right way! ɯǝou!!!!!
And be aware of more to come!
We’re still in “negotiations” with some “girls” from the “US” and production of new stuff is still rollin’, but for sure the next thing to come out is the long-long-awaited cassette by string and reverb genius Oliver Barrett!

It’s gonna be called YOWLS and he used recording spaces that alone make this magnetic tape a must-have!
And even though your eyes are red and swollen, though not by your drugs of choice but by reading this never ending update – alright…but there’s one more thing! (Feeling like hosting an Apple Keynote, hehe)
We like to introduce you to Econore Journal.
You’re right, there is the Econore Magazine, but we found out that the whole concept of making a magazine with interviews and other topics that usually come on a more or less daily basis isn’t exactly what our zine is capable of.
We simply can’t assure to publish the zine on a certain date. The graphics are a tough job too, but even harder is the financing of the whole project! We’re non-profit, so what?!
On the other hand, it’s a pity to see those interviews and stories getting old and dusty. So there is the point the Journal comes in!
The goal is to publish a journal every month. It’s A3 sized and the front features interviews, news or whatever we think you should know and the back features nothing less than a poster; each time by a different artist!
Isn’t that a good deal? Especially when it’s free of charge? We thought so.
First issue features an interview with the two-piece sensation Nü Sensae from Vancouver who just came back from tour and the exciting poster is done by Marek Kochandwicz.
How to get it? Well, here holds the same as for the compilation and to read it online click here: Econore Journal #1.
And that’s it. Bye.
